Sunchild summer student program is for Post secondary/high school and jr high students that meet the criteria that Sunchild First Nation offers every summer for 6 weeks.
The program is designed and coordinated through Sunchild HRD/ASETS Department, the program offers 6 weeks of work experience in various departments/offices within our Admin,Health and Education Dept. The program teaches and mentors the students to prepare for the labour economy and work force and while teaching them responsibilities of maintaining a job.
The summer student program is a creditable program with Sunchild First Nation school, credits towards work experience.
